Talented chef, Richard Burkert was previously the Head Chef of The Sir Charles Napier, where they were awarded “Oxfordshire Restaurant of The Year” in the Good Food Guide. Before this Richard had an impressive career working in some of London’s finest restaurants, Kensington Place and The Chiswick as well as restaurants in the Cotswolds such as The Marsh Goose.
“The best thing about The Cotswolds is the abundance of wonderful fresh ingredients” says Richard.
The Village pub offers high standards of English cooking using local and organic or traceable meats and fresh produce from local suppliers. The menus are changed twice daily and all dishes are cooked and prepared to order. All main courses include homemade bread and vegetables.
